The beautifully created world that we escape to every once in a while to become the people that we always wished to be. Whether it is a superhero, a mastermind crook or a princess in a fairy tale love story you want to be, in cinema u can live it out in the comfort of you paid for seat. With it being such a beautifully created space we tend to hold on to it long after the hundred and eight minutes is gone.When we get up from seeing the beautifully spoken, dashingly handsome lead actor, whose words in your eyes should have been serenading only you ears ,but rather every girl who sat in their paid for seat. The expactations become larger than life as we escape from reality to idealism of looking for the perfect character like beings that have an abstract view of life like the cinematic characters we took home.

The older generation is always on about the good old days, now as a 23 year old man i am starting to understand where are they comming from. todays music has lost soul, rythm and class, there is no quality into it,it is here today, tomorrow its gone. When i am talking about music i mean all kinds of music, classic, rock, jazz r&b etc. Todays musicians and producers all they want to do is to make quick cash without firstly looking into the quality and substance of the music. Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston, Branda Fassie, Luther Van Ross, Diana Ross, Cheer, Bob Marley etc, those were the good musicians even now i can still listen to that music but the Jennifer lopes, Alicia keys, Bongi Dube are just giving sounds that go with a season and never nice to listen to again. some Beyonces' songs are classic and will stand the test of time.

Music is part of culture and as culture evolves music must evolve too, but not for the worst but for the better. The internet downloading or piracy some musicians claim that it is the course that make them produce such rubbish. there must be something done to produce new talent that can give us quality music that can last for a life time and contains massage that is meaningfull to listeners.

Social networks are now becoming part of our lives, especially the young generation. Although they inform us on what is happening around us they come with bad things for example people who use false identity in hi5, facebook etc. People tend to use a false identity which at the end of the day does not help inform but misinform people. Everyone on social networks tends to be successful and high up the ladder, if people become more genuine and use these for their origional purpose. How many people in our days can take the time to go out and have lunch with a friend or meet people on the streets and just have a conversation with them? What social networks do is make us be able to have conversations with people we do not know and instead of going to visit a friend we just get hold of them through messaging them on line or chating with them on chat sites. Is this who we really are or is technology detecting the kind of people we should be and the kind of lives we should live. If we really look at it we are slowly but surely being controlled by these technologies for example when one recieves a text message on their phone they reply the message without even hasitating or disrupt their conversation when their phone rings and answer it. So take a minute and think about what these networks do to our lives.
