Social Networks: what they do to us.

As people we have our dreams and we allow our imagination to take control of our lives so that we are able to dream. When we use social networks we tend to create our imagined world and we live in this imagined space by using the media. Our culture changes and becomes the conscious and the imaginative construction which mobilizes difference or a divide in the society. As people used to our imaginative culture we have fear of the unknown, fear of living in a passive world of possibilities which we do not want to encounter. As human beings we no longer have proper conversations, parents complain of children who always lock themselves in their rooms and spend most of their time on the internet. They blame the new media for stealing their children and always make excuses that they do not have time to speak to their children because they are always busy listening to Ipods or chatting with friends on different networks. What people do not realise is social networks create bounderies that can only be closed by being part of them, when one is not part of them they feek left out and once you are part of them you seperate yourself from other things in the world. To make sure there is a balance one should make sure that they visit both their imaginative world and the real world.
